Woke up before 6am on a day I didn't have to get up until 6:30.

Bet you anything you like that doing the same for the next two work days will be a struggle.

Dropped a cup of tea as I was about to put it on the side table. Luckily the couch got most of it as I’d only just made it. Now sat on a towel on the couch hoping it will soak up the water I’ve cleaned it with.

Came downstairs this morning to the sight of numerous ants scurrying along the plinth (if that's what it's called) underneath a run of kitchen wall cupboards. It's not obvious where they are coming from.
I cleaned out the kitchen cupboards above their little motorway but so far they don't seem to have infiltrated the food inside.

I wanted to enter the Palma 10k yesterday because the price goes up 5 euros as from today. I needed my passport number to enter, and I thought that would be fine (I'm 120 miles away from my passport this weekend) because I have a photo of it on my phone.
Except the only passport details on my phone are of my now expired passport, not my current one.

A pothole gave us a puncture on the way to parkrun this morning. Changed to the space-saver spare and still made it time for the 1st timers briefing.

Wallet now not inconsiderably lighter after replacement tyre purchased.

Just lost two hours of my life because my desktop PC 'lost' its wifi network adapter overnight. How? Why? Fixed it but it's so frustrating!

Late this afternoon I had to make
tea for four children (6pm)
tea for four adults (8pm)
tomorrow's lunch for eight adults

and at 6.30 had a text saying the children wouldn't need any tea.

Both of the free coffee machines in Waitrose were out of order. It’s an outrage.

Got woken up at 05:10 this morning by son's alarm, 50 mins before mine was due to go off, and couldn't get back to sleep. He had set it early in order to be ready at 6am to book a driving test.
