What is the point of this (£32.50 5k) race?

If you're not on drugs then what's the point? In fairness, if the pictures are accurate, it does look like they put some effort in to all the Jean Michel Jarre stuff. Value for money is for the participants to decide. I think running through as fast as possible might be missing the point. If you're a teenager or in your early twenties, still clubbing but also do some exercise, this could be a good night out with your mates. It's not like you're going to get round it in 25 minutes. I'm too old now though.
