There is a town in Poland, ZÄ…bkowice ÅšlÄ…skie, that is called Frankenstein in German. It has a ruined castle, so there really is a Castle Frankenstein.

That when you use a new credit card for the first time at Sainsbury's to get petrol, and you select 'pay at the pump', Sainsbury's will charge your card £99 as a 'security measure' regardless of how much petrol you bought, then pay back the balance in a couple of days when you pass their security checks.
