In all seriousness there seems to be a problem with some of those communities that are almost intrinsically isolated. I heard someone from Hull on the radio yesterday and she was saying that she wanted the town to be put into the highest tiers so they could get the virus under control.

[In the first lockdown, we were mostly in the bottom 10 areas affected in the country. It's been quite alarming to watch areas like Hull and others around here hit the top 10 this month.]

yes...I found Burnham's actions marked him put as a poor politician and a bit of a berk, you have to make deals....but he seems to be held in very high esteem...the stupid line "we do things differently here" was trotted out, well yeah, we'll have to them with a fair bit less money than we might have done.

[I wrongly maligned McG's council area as having one of the higher rates of infection in Surrey, although, compared to the national averages, infection rates are are still low. Spelthorne and Runnymede are top, with Epsom and Ewell being third (which I'd misremembered as being Reigate and Banstead).
