Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What do you know today, that you did not yesterday?

WS, the mayor of Liverpool seems to have played a pretty canny hand in dealing with govt and public health bodies. On the contrary, the delay by Andy Burnham doesn't appear to have helped.

Subsidy: I don't know, is the short answer, but I doubt L'pool will have earmarked all of the £54 million by now [amount needs checking.]

Doesn't the Hants/Surrey border go right through the middle of Dio's living room? In fact I think he might be sat on the Hants/Surrey/W. Sussex tri-point.

I saw some tier 3 on my run today. Don’t worry, I washed my hands thoroughly afterwards

You'd have thought Scunthorpe was sufficiently isolated already. ;)

We're all in the same tier, despite being in a very low risk part of those counties. The infection rate in Surrey is highest in the north west of the county, and then in McG's area.

I rarely go to Scunthorpe, Glenn, despite it only being 8 miles away. I'd rather travel to Lincoln, so I think you make a fair point :)
