[I thought whatever aircraft the President was in became Air Force One. And if it was only the VP it became Air Force two]

[Something like that Dave and am only going on the first episode of Ncis. Where it is mentioned if the president isn't on it it ceases to be Air force one]

The Mongolian men's marathon record holder, Bat-Ochiryn "Ziggy" Ser-Od, is a Morpeth Harrier. (I've also change trains in Poprad. It struck me as quite like Falkirk (although with better mountain access).) |

There are two designated Air Force One aircraft, and four electronic command posts or some such that I believe look much the same. One of those is at Fairford. It is true that any Air Force aircraft containing the president is 'Air Force One' but when he flies with the Marines, it is 'Marine 1'.

Domestic turkeys in the UK are called stags. Because selective breeding has made them so big and heavy, most commercial turkey breeding is done by artificial insemination.

When he first came to the UK his club asked for a free entry for him into our local 10k (request denied), but he came anyway and won by a couple of minutes! |

[there's an excellent documentary (on Sky, I think) about 9/11 that shows the US secret service being in a panic as the planes start to hit. They have to get Pres Bush in the air, and the video of AF1 taking off using minimal runway is a thing to behold]
