Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Lovely blog R. Best of luck with your race.

And to everyone else too. I've been keeping half an eye on the thread and will enjoy tracking everyone's progress over the weekend.

What the fcuk good would that do you, M1nty!!!!

You'd get 13 miles done in not a bad time then the next 80+ would be slower than a snail!!!!

On a serious note, please, when the runners during this event are at their lowest ebb, just think of how fortunate they are to be running in such a great race in such a great place. I AM JEALOUS!!!

57.5 Degrees of Pain
All the best to everyone racing, especially in avoiding any unpleasant weather. Hope to be there next year and have enjoyed the chat as the event gets closer. I envy anyone who is only in pain after 4 to 6 hours, a dodgy piriformis was playing me up by Balmaha on the Fling... but that forces me into ' Ultra plod' pace quickly and I'm quite consistent at that.
