Hello! Well that was fun (mostly!). I'm writing this while lying in bed in the bunkhouse with some of my crew, one hanger on who decided to stay in FW for the party tonight. Just about to go for dinner then pub.

Well done to whwrunner and the team for all the hard work organising and all the work on the day so that 155 folk could run 95 miles all for a crystal goblet, a jelly baby off Murdo, and a hug off Duchess. Well done to the crews for putting up with the runners, well done to the runners for running. I'm so happy that the folk on this thread did really well Santa, Lintie, happy G, RWR. Seeing RWR finish the race and giving her a hug was special. Love that the Stoney ladies all were fab and got their goblets.

Thanks shanksi, wkp, RitchieC, and Chris who I couldn't have done it without.

Well done the Stoney ladies (I was singing a song going across the Lairig Mor - "All the Stoney ladies, all the Stoney ladies, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh." Well, it kept me going! Lovely to see you all, well done on your goblets (100% success) and thanks for the hugs mrs s. x :-) G

Well done everyone. I spent much of yesterday tracking progress. Only thing missing is some notes. It's all very well knowing what time you got there but I need detail.

Mrs S - still smiling, feet sore, ate hula hoops
:)G - arrived singing about Stoney ladies, had a cup of tea, hugged Duchess

You get the picture. In fact a live feed from each checkpoint would help. Or indeed I could get my ass down the road next year.....
