Glad to hear Flip has made it home. He was having a toughie. Thanks HP.
Boab, hope I didn't p* your runner off, chatting away on that bit coming in to Glencoe. Well done for keeping him going. He'll be so glad you did. Enjoy the prize giving. It's amazing. Applaud. Every. Runner. :-)G

Mike, Santa, M1nty and Flip, you totally rock. *bows in the presence of awesomeness*
*Not forgetting the support crews*
Talking of support crews, any offers for supporting my attempt next year?

I am in extreme awe of the WHW runners not just those who completed but to all those who stood on the start line, Such commitment. grit and determination. It's been fun being an armchair warrior watching the updates come through on facebook etc., specially from FLip.

Don't be in complete awe of everyone who stood at the start line - some of us just clapped a lot and then went home to bed
What a weekend of awesomeness (seriously). On the scale of 1 to 10 it was completely epic.

Andy, I agree. For a small race, in relative entrants terms, this is a massive event. It's my first experience of it and I have been blown away by the camaraderie, mutual respect and support that this race generates. Supporting has been so enjoyable and fulfilling for me, as I helped my friend complete this gruelling event.

My 3rd whw experience and the best yet. Sandra was superb and after a small low around auchtertyre she perked up and stormed the last 45 miles. The last 14 miles was far more fun than it should have been especiaaly when we ran into llundavra singing and dancing to The Killers. I am in again for next year, supporting that is!
