Looking back now at slowly detrerriating my condition during the race , I think the over heating on my part was due to the muggy weather early on and then some electrolyte shortage later on. Somehow i was dehydrated as well and then i think i drank to much to try and compensate. I one point i though i'd drink the streams dry ! Not sure how that came about as i'm pretty clued up on this stuff and take care. I'll take a longer look at my nutrition for the next one. That said, i think sometimes shit just happens and while looking at it is fine, trying to find one solid answer might not be possible. Maybe i should have sat down with a pint or two at kingshouse and it may have all come back together ! Having a real think about whether i run lakeland 100 now baring in mind my dreadful run would be top 50 in ULTD and the average finishing time is 37 hours. looking forward to the blog sandy. x
