Some heavy rain showers, interspersed with sunny bits. Nicely cool, good running conditions.

Course record is about o be/has just been obliterated.

I'm in Fort Bill just about to head off ir marshalling part 3.... The long night of pain awaits the field.

Paul Giblin won it, beating previous record by 32 mins.

Just back from Tyndrum where Santa trotted through quite happily. Drove back to the Auchtetyre wigwams after and saw Flip come through wearing some of Happy's clothes! Flip said he was getting too hot but an intense shower just after will have cooled him down on the way to Tyndrum although Anna's support running pace may be warming him up again
