You don’t need to do anything you don’t want to EB.

Good luck with it, wise not to go public too, there is still a lot of stigma out there. I can never quite understand why people care what I do and don’t eat.

A lie in and just had first breakfast on the veganary plan. I've swapped it over from tomorrow as its easier for me with work commitments etc so I had the fruit smoothie. Mixed frozen berries, spinach, chia seeds, banana and almond milk. I tried batista oat milk in my coffee this morning and quite liked it tbh so far so good at one meal in πŸ˜‚ I must admit the one thing I was concerned about was my morning coffee but that was all good.

Is anyone else just starting or us it just me?

Wombling Plodder (Welsh Womble)
I have been veggie for almost 20 years and was vegan for 9 months until I was really ill a few years back (not related). I started eating eggs and dairy again as OH was trying to look after everything whilst working and caring for me - it just made things a bit easier.

I haven't brought (or worn) leather or other animal products since becoming a veggie although my sofa is leather - and my OH is not a veggie.

My 55kg dog eats raw meat which I do feed to her. I have been called all sorts of names in the past when others have found this out so I tend to keep to myself and not share anything on any forums.

For me and 2020 I intend to move away from dairy cheese and other occasional products that are dairy based. I also plan to eat more unprocessed food and have been bulk cooking and freezing meals since I was made redundant.

I try to buy ethical products as much as possible, and must remember to take my reading glasses to the shops as ingredient listings do change. I am also going to try some homemade cleaning products to reduce single use even more this year.

I shall continue to lurk so that I can pick up some good tips from others :-)

Yeah Bob! 😊

I had lentil salad for lunch and then grains and vegetables for dinner. Just had a pudding from M&S from their plant kitchen range.

So far tomo I've got porridge with almond milk, pitta stuffed with salad hummus and half an avavacdo. Not decided on dinner but probably tempeh stir fry 😊
