Fetch, any response to K5 Gus's comment (#1894) towards the top of Page 2 of this thread regarding interpolated times being grey rather than black (as prior to the reboot)? Thanks.

Let me have a look at what it'll take to retrofit that :-)

Not so easy, sorry. I was relying on folks being familiar enough with their times to see which were generated from splits.

Boo, I've been relegated when before the changes I was about to be promoted ;-). I realise that the divisions have been reorganised so I'm not surprised that happened.

I think the greying of split generated times is useful for competitors eyeing up the opposition in their division ;-). Yes, we ARE serious on here :-p.

Does it only use an interpolated time if you don't have a time for that distance, or would it check to see if an interpolated time was faster than best race time ?

eg If your best 5 mile race time was at 7:00 pace, ie 35:00, but you'd done a 10k race at 6:55 pace, would it show the interpolated time of 34:35 or the race time of 35:00 ?

It uses the fastest! I did a 10 mile race yesterday in 1:31:43 but my time in UTMOST shows as 1:30:55 which must be based on my HM time of 1:59:06 as I haven't run another 10 mile race in the last 12 months.

It will use the fastest - so an interpolated time can overrule a race time.

Sorry, what are the times based on? Training runs or races?

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Start in the bottom division, and compete over seven different distances against your rivals for weekly promotion!

How It Works
1) The game takes your best times from training and racing over the last 12 months.

2) If you've got the fastest 5k in your division, you get 20 points. If you're second fastest, you get 19 points, etc.

3) Your FIVE best scores are used to calculate your total. So if your scores at each distance are 20,20,20,20,20,10,5 the lowest two are discarded, and your total points would be 100.

4) Promotion and relegation happen every Monday at midday.
