“Everybody is dead, Dave” repeats Holly, not for the first time.
“But I can create holograms of all of the crew, if it will help your sanity at all.”
“What do you mean, Hol?” questions Lister, “I thought we could only have one hologram?”
“I’ve come across new technologies in the last 3 million years. Some of them useful, some on them not. Like self cleaning underwear. In theory, it sounds great, but the last thing you want close to your taters is a squeegee and dry that’s gone berserk. Three people were hospitalised on the first day alone.”
Dave was shocked for a moment.
“That’s terrible, Hol. So, what’s new with the holographic tech?”
“Two days ago, before you came out of stasis, we ran into a holoship. It was crewed by 50 holograms. We now have a holoflex 4.0 that can generate up to 400 holograms.”
Dave digests this for a moment. His mind jumps to the possibilities. He thinks of Kristine Kochanski.
“That’s great, Hol! I can’t wait for you to create the crew. Do you have everything you need? Everything you need to bring back Kochanski?”

Once upon a time there was a runner called Ian. He built an amazing website, a free website, for runners, swimmers, bikers, walkers and everyone else. Training, blogs, forum, games, #fetchfam, statistics, photos, calculators, leagues, targets, this website had everything you could possibly want or need. You could run a lot, or not at all, blog a lot, or not at all, swim a lot, or not at all, everyone was equally welcomed. And welcoming. Everything was visible to everyone, no paywalls, all for free.
And then one day Ian woke up and said “I want to be more like strava ” and suddenly it cost £15 a month just to log on and look at your own data

Hercule Poirot carefully combed his moustache and appraised his appearance in the hall mirror. He was ready. A luxurious boat trip along the Nile lay ahead. He was looking forward to it immensely.
He soon came to know his travelling companions- a beautiful, young, newly married couple; their close friend; a rich, elderly American and her downtrodden niece; a ridiculous young bounder, and the rest. They were an interesting bunch, but there was undoubtedly a sense of menace lurking beneath the banal surface. Poirot sensed trouble ahead and did his best to ratchet up the tension by talking about this at every opportunity.
To his dismay, his fears were completely unfounded. Everyone had a wonderful holiday, the food was exceptional, and no-one died. In fact, no-one really knew who this little fussy Belgian was, but all agreed he was a bit of a busybody.

Throughout the film, we follow Neo (Keanu Reeves) as he joins the human resistance against the machines, believing he’s the saviour who will end the war. He trains with Morpheus and fights Agent Smith in iconic sequences, gradually gaining incredible abilities within the simulated world, like bending reality itself.
However, as the story progresses, small inconsistencies begin to emerge. Neo experiences strange glitches—visions of moments in the real world where he sees himself not as a human, but as a digital entity, an abstract program of unknown origin. He begins having flashes of memories that seem too structured, almost like code being inserted into his mind. His interactions with the Oracle, who has previously guided him, suddenly feel more scripted, as if they’ve been designed to guide him toward a certain outcome.
In the final act, as Neo confronts Agent Smith and enters the heart of the Matrix, he is confronted by an exhausted Architect who reveals the shocking truth:
"You are not 'The One,' Neo. You never were. You were created by us—the machines—not to be the saviour of mankind, but to be a test. We need to know if humanity can evolve past its dependency on the simulation. You are a product of the system, a test subject designed to embody the hope for transcendence."
As the Architect continues, Neo learns that every cycle of the Matrix has played out similarly: a human has been chosen to believe they are the chosen one and overthrow the machines. However, every time, the same patterns emerge—humans refuse to evolve beyond the Matrix, clinging to their digital existence instead of transcending it. The simulations have always failed, and the machines are running out of time to find a solution.

As the Titanic begins to sink, a mysterious passenger named Elias claims to have knowledge of the ship’s impending fate, but no one believes him. Desperate, he approaches Rose and Jack, revealing he’s from the future and traveled back in time to stop the tragedy. He explains that he was supposed to prevent the ship from striking the iceberg, but an unknown rival sabotaged his plans.
As chaos unfolds, Jack and Rose must choose: escape on a lifeboat or help Elias fix his damaged device to reverse time. They decide to help. Just as the ship breaks apart, Elias activates the device, resetting the timeline to the moment Titanic set sail.
However, this time, Jack is not on board—he never boarded the ship in this alternate timeline. Rose, heartbroken but alive, realizes she must now navigate this second chance without him.

It's just like shooting womprats in a barrel! Said the arrogant, blonde- haired, youth.
But like all teenagers, he knew a lot less than he thought, and was miles off target.
A new era of dictatorial peace spread around the galaxy as the force took it's time, hoping everyone would forget about the midaclorian nonsense, which they did surprisingly quickly. The time was now ripe to search for the great grand child of a mysterious woman called Rey, but before that, Ben had one more job to complete. It had taken him years to figure out, but now he was ready. Slowly he rose up through the fiery red heat of Vadars arrabiata sauce as his arch nemesis was quietly minding his own business in the Death Star canteen. Now it was time to tell him the truth
