And to meet you! Sorry I missed you when you stopped, this lurgy is really kicking my arse this weekend. Lots of DNS on the shorter distances for Copthorne, the weather forecast putting people off I guess. It's certainly damp out there, but not actually quite as bad as had started to fear. |

We've got as many people in the aid station as there are out on the course! Very blowy but at least the rain has stopped. Apparently a couple of trees have come down. Long long gaps between runners now. Speculation is that there may only be 2 finishers in the 100 miles and 1 in the 200. |

Looking at the times I wonder if any of the 100 runners will finish inside the cut off? I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon at the CP helping out, some great efforts going on. Glad I wasn't still out there, the weather was looking pretty horrible and "Cow Shit Alley" must be a real mud bath by now! Medic reckons I've got a stress fracture I'm my lower right leg, so glad I stopped when I did. Will go to the docs when I get back home. |

Hope your leg is ok - stress fracture is a good reason to stop |

6 hours for Alan to do his last lap and finish the 200 6 hours for Elizabeth to do 1.5 laps. One other left in the 100 but very unlikely to finish |

We're just getting some breakfast down the road from Mickleham, so we'll pop along to cheer for them in a bit š

Mr. K.
Been following loads. Allan has got a great race (races) on his hands there. I see that Liz has done quite a bit training over there + I`ve seen her over Caesars a few times. |

Presumably this isn't an easy course? It's hard to judge having just the OS to view & never visited the area. Or is it just the bad conditions making it so attritional?

It's a tough course - 1.5 Everests in total over the ten loops of the 200 mile course, made trickier by the storm.
