Can someone remind me for the OpenTrack website for tracking long races like the Spine, does the trophy symbol which represents the course record show :-
a) the actual position at that time

b) use the average pace ran for the whole race and plot where that would have been at that time

Spine link for anyone that hadn't already found it live.opentracking.co.uk

Given at present the women's trophy is behind the men's and the women's record is the course record I'm assuming it's the latter this time (on some occasions it has been the former).

But I'm so confused I've just got former and latter mixed up 🤦

So I think it's a) this time.

Yeah, you had me confused there - I was liking your logic up until you said "latter" :-)

Thanks 👍for the lateral thinking, annoyed with myself that I never twigged that one

Dots ticked. Elaine Bisson is from my running club, she pulled with an injury early on last year her first attempt she was 2nd lady. Shes a formidable runner so everything crossed for her.

In the men’s I guy from work is running Michael Gregory he’s going it to raise money for MND, a guy I worked with about 12yrs ago and more recently he worked with has MND and is now wheelchair bound and needs oxygen it’s so sad.

Great photos!

I was following Vicky Hart but it looks like she's retired already, I hope she's ok.

Still following Alan Cormack, ultra legend from these parts and a nice man.
