Velociraptor
I seem to remember that it was oversubscribed and the race director would offer places to the applicants he considered most suitable according to his own assessment criteria.

I was following and watching Teun, but his tracker seemed to stop at 20:30 ish, and never got any further updates. He was up in the top 3 or 4 for most of the race until then so wonder if he stopped early or it was a technical problem.

Planning on buying a battery pack to use on long utlras (two night jobs) where I will need to charge my Fexix 6 and Head torch on the run (both once). As Black Friday is upon us...any suggestions please? I really dont know what I am looking for as in battery size or if there are other gotya's i need to be aware of.
Physical size and weight are important (less the better) and price....dont want to over pay, hence looking around Black Friday.
Both devices charge up via USB (Headtoch USB C).
head torch is a - (4.0Ah Silva Trail Runner Free Ultra) Fenix 6 apparently has a 420mAh, 3.8V, 1.596Wh Li-ion battery by Routejade Inc
The above means little to me, so what device should I get any ideas? Something with more battery than i need so if it degrades it will still do the job.
Thank you

um
MAG - I found similar power usage to your figures. Your torch is consuming about 10 times the power of the watch.
My reckoning (and please someone correct me if I've miscalculated) is that a 10,000 mAh power pack will recharge your head torch twice (10,000 mAh = 10 Ah) and your watch 4-5 times (or 20 - 25 times without any headtorch)
Hope that helps! So I suspect 10,000 mAH will be enough. Unless you get another as a spare. I haven't looked at weight differences - or size/shape to make it easy to carry/use.

Buy a reputable brand, not some cheap import rubbish, most of them lie about the capacity, seen some with a lump of metal in the casing to make it feel like the battery is heavier than it is. Go for a brand such as Anker.

A good question UltraDunc. Quite liked the ideas of that I know chances are I’d only make the paper cut off but it would be good to have a go.
