Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

There is also an element of competition between the countries, in terms of which team can do the most yards combined

And still they are going, down to 4 runners, Merijn and Ivo from Belgium and Yoshida and Daiki from Japan, with Belgium tied for 2nd place with Australia.

Wonder how the time zone difference will impact things now, 4:20am in japan, almost through the night and into the morning light, while only 9:20pm in Belgium and 10 hours of darkness ahead of them.

It's been great watching the little snippets from around the world. The different weather conditions have played a part too: boiling in Singapore, too severe in Finland.

Passing the world record now in Belgium, whoa. Looks like they've got loads of supporters out there too.

Must say I am very tempted to nip along and cheer them on, they aren't far from us here.

It's also Merijns birthday today, so beating his own world record seems a nice way to spend it! Can't imagine either is wanting to give up yet, 100 laps seems so close.
