Done a couple of events with Joe "Outfit" Cooper. Welsh 3000's as a guided challenge couple of years back and Offa's Dyke 24hrs South in May. Thoroughly decent chap. Offered everyone a free place in next year's Offa's Dyke race whether you wanted to defer this year's or not (as a bit limited with covid eg. outdoor rather than indoor CP's) I thought was a nice touch. As you say low key and makes you realise it's not just Snowdonia in North Wales that's nice to play out in!

Congratulations to Macca for completing the Wendover Woods 100. I would have thought under 30 hrs would be good, but 25 1/2!

Thanks all. 10x10 mile laps within a 2m square of Wendover Woods might not be everyone’s cup of tea but sitting on the edge of the Chilterns the terrain and elevation is so varied it worked for me. Feet and quads have un-friended me🤣

Mr. K.
Not had any experience at WW yet - not even the parkrun.

Well done Macca. Grand effort.

A tweet I saw earlier...from Mark Atkinson - Run like a Duck

"Bloody eck. 49 starters, 18 finishers at #WW100 and they’re all proper runners who needed to have qualifying race experience not people who got lost on the local 5k race page.

Lakeland 100 is typically only around 50% "

Rosehip
not normally that much of a dropout rate is there?

I fancied the night 50K but missed entering, on the list for next year :)
