I waiting for a new pair of bib shorts to arrive.
One thing indoor riding has made me do is research/review my bibshorts which has made what I wear and when on the Turbo quite specific.

Mr Farg has the LeCol indoor cycling top - its just basically mesh - and he loves it. I wear a lightweight vest/tank top and ordinary bike shorts.
what's different about specialist turbo shorts then ?

Le Col indoor kit price is relative if you are already prepared to pay over 100 quid for bibs. However I don't think I need special indoor kit.
I have 3 fans and a solid set up so think about bib shorts I would wear outside.
I have 3 brands for shorts that seem to have moved above the rest.
Ekoi - really nice to wear and comfy inside or outside, my preferred full kit set up for riding outside, they do a lot of ORANGE. Number 3 bibs indoors as I want them to make it to outdoor season. KomRaid - I did a race for them and they supplied 2 sets of kit. The bibs are really comfy and I have bought more pairs of shorts, the kit is a bit "trendy" for my tastes but very comfy and my first choice as general shorts for indoors Assos - I have 2 pairs of road(new pair just arrived) and 1 pair of trail, noted that I was always going for these shorts as soon as a ride was above 3hours. The pad in the Assos stuff is off the chart good and I am only in the mid level stuff. My weekend warrior kit and 24hour race kit.
For all my efforts as finding orange kit one of the lessons I have learned is I prefer simple black shorts really.
No escaping you get what you pay for, I have some Rivelo, DHB, Madison, Castelli and Sportful(my favourite brand for winter bibs) and they are used when I really have to.
1. Castelli - still nice but only for an hour or 2
2. Sportful - pad never feels quite ride after an hour 3. Madison - desperate 4. Rivelo - panicking and standing a lot 5. DHB - oh shit better get the laundry on /how about testing the MTB bibs ??
