Happy 2020!

Because of new dog we had a very quiet and indoorsy one, but shall be out starting as we mean to go on with a run each and a then maybe a joint bike ride today. I decided against any open water swimming activities.

I hope, to the extent you're able to control it, you all have the sort of day you want, too.

About to do run of parks, at Costa del Felixstowe. The dock cranes are glistening in the Winter sun, not a breath of wind. Quite glorious.

19:25. Delighted with that, a sliver of speed returning. Fastest 5k for a couple of years. All off base training, a good start to 2020.

AA - a smidge under 18 moles cycled with Mr Frag this morning :-) Ive bought some new gel insoles for my bike shoes and they do (fingers crossed) so far seem to cut down on some of the road vibration which irritates my foot. We chose to do one of the more challenging hills round these parts, and I suffered mightily in the process, its all good :-)

and we saw some very cute llamas too :-)

I have done not one, but two, runs of park.

Stratford then Leamington for my first double since the triple of 2012/13.

Extra lap before going through the finish but z2 6.30 for 4 plus kms then a 6.40 or so progressive z2 at Leamington . No issues just fat.
