Nice. We’ve been family and friends but managed a short walk up the coast and back as an appetiser for the venison sausages.
Bike is coming back in the house this afternoon; it might even get a spin...

Running target exceeded by 102 miles. Started climbing.
Cycling and swimming dire.
Shoulder still frozen.
Also feel fat.

Good afternoon Endurance Heroes, and Happy New Year to one and all. I think we're all feeling a bit fat. 'Tis the (off) season.
To echo an earlier post - thanks for the support over the past year. It's been fun.
I didn't ride as much as I should, or run, but swimmage was roughly where it needs to be.
My A-race for 2020 is IM Portugal 70.3 with B-races being the club champs at Woking (Sprint) and Thorpe Park (Standard).
A couple of half-marathons to ease me in (Thorpe in Feb, Surrey in March) and some sportives to train for in the Spring. I'm tempted by Castle to Coast (a 'sportive' 70.3~ish) because it's there, but we'll see.

I'm not feeling any more fat than I was in, say, July, so that's something of a victory I guess - about my only one, for 2019.
I never really got back on it after the ankle breaking thing, although medically speaking there was nothing stopping me for the last quarter of the year (coincidentaly, now that the weather has turned sub-zero for longer than five minutes, I've discovered that the cold makes my screw hurt. I do not like this discovery).
It would be impressive if 2020 somehow manages to be worse, at least.
