Ouch Raemond. Better luck in 2020
Have put on a stone in 2019 and its not all (or really very much) shoulder and back muscle from swimming
A- List: Owler/The Islander or Hever 70.3 in July
Wd like to do Hever, but it's only 2 weeks after Giants Head Marathon, so will prob do Owler (Lydd) or the Islander (W Mersea) Any recommendations on either of these appreciated.
B- List: Windsor and London Olympic distances
Plus a shed load of running, RL100 and probably Serp Swim for the Classics bling

I have set a goal of returning to triathlon in 2020, most likely at Woodhorn Sprint tri in July, but am seeking out other options too, possibly venturing over the border to Scotland. Also want to look at North Yorkshire and Lancashire area for possible events. Any recommendations?

Unfortunately Rae I too find cold weather makes my metalwork inclined to cause aches and even stiffness, though maybe that's just old age causing the latter.
My activity today had been energetic gardening (and tip visiting) this morning and a short spin on the bike this afternoon. 'Activity every day' going stormingly so far

AA - yoga for me today, and feeling a bit stiff after yesterdays ride. Totals for last year wee woeful, but actually slightly up on the year before so I'll take that as a light win

I’ve done energetic wood fuel production today (3½ kilo GP axe being twirled expertly and enthusiastically).
Also, I’ve just taken on responsibility for the management of a 12-acre wood so very much looking forward to more of this as the season progresses.
Going to sort out a round-up / crystal-ball blog this evening.

Oooo, woodsman Ankh. I may have a teeny bit of envy there.

I had my big chopper out yesterday too, its something i'd be interesting in doing more of, doesn't seem to be very lucrative though
Also feeling a bit porky, but feeling motivated to get back on it on Monday, i'm out on Thursday and Saturday this week, then that's it.
May get on the bike tonight, but also may not...

Evening soldiers.
Lioned this am (planned a run), work then 3 x 20 at 90% on the watter. Struggled with it, then struggled more with the run after. Still, ‘tis done and banked.
