Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The possible new country badge, you mean?
Can't say, old chap, I'm taking Sam away to a mystery destination for his birthday. Can't even promise it will actually be a new country for either of us, but it might be.

Oh I see. This is Smell. Wondered why Ankh was here. He's cropping up all over the shop the lad and I thought he'd come over to OTDIFH. As you were.

I am consuming all the drugs today just to be able to function as a relatively normal human being.

morning all - in a strange way it has been a quiet month but the training volume is my biggest for quite a while

Run 14:56:32 101.7
Bike 60:38:43 634.8
X-Train 12:13:23 - Yoga, TT and gym
Total 87:48:38

DVD extras

Bought lots of titanium and hope bits for my singlespeed

1 x 24 hr mtb race
1 x 25 hr team race
1 x parkrun – 1 x W at parkrun

Upgrades to my camper a few including ORANGE steels(pictures when fitted)

CONFESSION - due to the bike racing I wasn't even close to making 100 miles this month and for the first time in my life I chased down an arbitrary target, deliberately running twice a day to cover off 8 miles per day, in the end I got ahead but this is embarrassing indeed. I am a man who has run 99.97 miles in a week/394 in a month or 59.x hours etc... and not cared, run 19.99 and stopped as I was home. Ridden 95 miles and gone why when it was suggest we do 5 more.

I'm quite concerned by this!!

Yoga is still making a difference, I'm not suddenly made of rubber but am sure I recover better, 2 blogs written to cover the 24hours

Last night and this morning I was building a singlespeed CX bike which for some reason is slipping under power even with the tensioner on - agitated !!!

Did an hour on the watt bike

Interesting about the yoga, Gobi. I should find a class and even better, attend it regularly.

It's funny how numbers get to you ;-)

I only did 1 class and that didn't work but 3 to 7 days a week I do 10 -25 mins of yoga using stuff I found online which should help my back hips and hamstrings.....

I still don't enjoy it but I enjoy the results

numbers don't get to me LD and that's why I'm bothered

I cant tell you exactly how many parkruns I have done, I don't know how many marathons I have done (rough idea on marathons and ultras added)

I know performance numbers

I know power numbers
I know HR numbers

Useful numbers yes, but to chase a really shitty number that is lower than I use to run in a week has me quite flummoxed :¬)
