I've been out on my bike (wanted to get it done before the traffic ramped up - I'm still a wuss when it comes to busy roads) and now I'm going to have a restful day. It's the final club handicap race tomorrow evening and although I'm nowhere near in contention it would be good to get another entry in.
MaltDrinker 14 Jul 3:14pm, 14 Jul 2024 164 posts	0 MaltDrinker Thanks ar and LD 🙂 Bad night and feeling tired this morning and when the wind hit us getting out of the car at Chapelton, I thought I'd have a hard time just getting round, so goodness only knows where the 13 second course PB came from! 🤣 Feeling rather chuffed with myself. Club member to my right picked up First Lady and another (not in pic) got 3rd in his Category, so a good outing for HP. Fab medal as usual from this race. It always features the red phone box that sits by the village green.

But the medal and cakes make you return every year 😁 Think this is the fourth time I’ve done this race and always forget how many hills there are between the huge hill! My slowest time on this course, which I was expecting. But not quite as bad as I was predicting so I’ll take that as a positive.
