Almost late for parkrun this morning. Was cutting it a bit fine. Then after driving for a wee while realised I’d left phone at home. Was needing it to pay for coffee, petrol, wee bit of shopping and collect a library book. Decided to turn back. Thankfully roadworks on route gone overnight so made it with a few mins to spare. Phew. |

Lucky Kim. I changed my schedule so I had a 40 minute easy run today. Was cracking and for once I ran every step and it felt pretty good.

Nice bit of hiking ITG, very barren where you are up there. I seem to have missed a couple of days but should start getting my shit together again now as all my visitors have finally left. Looking forward to the rest of the "summer" doing just what I want to do now. |

Hola gonks. Parkrun was rather good - I managed 23.37, my fastest parkrun since 2017. I've ran quicker a few times at local 5K races but a nice 5 seconds off my best parkrun time this year, and on legs that were a bit achy after Wednesday night's race. GF Sal also had a good one, 27.52 with 27.51 being her best parkrun this year. I've spent all afternoon at an art sale which I organised. Was good fun. Sold a few things. Met some interesting people. |

All sounds good Som, you have that treasure Sal to help you get out that door. I did a short run this evening, nearly binned it but talked myself back into it. |

Absolutely not keeping up. for Som's 700. The cat on the bin is the icing on the cake. Wonderful photos of Iceland on the last few pages. What an extraordinary country it is, with that huge split down the middle. 35 minute slow run this evening. I too have a Knee, and would not venture to run without encasing it in a velcro-rich support. |
