He was just about to lap me when the ankle went. Good thing I didn't take him out with my stumble!

Thanks for the good wishes. A phone conversation with my GP wife suggests @Son of a Pronator Man may be right.

Have secured a lift and a walking stick for tonight's night out at least. I'm clearing my mum's flat but the only thing here is a Zimmer, which would be overkill.

Well done @Lesley C 👏
Grand day for it.
Think there is a plan to do Crathes with our grandson at some point. Well I say "with" but he will be well ahead of me! 🤣

As the thread is parkrun café, here is a parkrun café review!

Cafe Classique, Linford Wood. 5/5
Can't really fault this.
Photo of Chil-d and Chil-craft with my dosa which is about twice the size of my head.
The food is delicious and ridiculously cheap. So good that they don't even lose a mark for not really understanding what a double espresso is, and handing me an americano.

It's now 5pm and I'm still not hungry.

Lolz. I've rarely seen Andrew less hirsute. Bearing in mind we first met almost 12 years ago when he was still a teenager!

I went to Blyth parkrun for my wife's 250 this week. There were 50+ folks in some excellent festive fancy dress costumes, raising money for a local charity.
