In general surgical type masks are designed to protect others, whilst FFP3 types are designed to protect the wearer. Worth noting that some FFP3 types have exhalation valves (they're supposed to be fitted to completely seal around the face) so won't offer others protection from whatever you breathe out. There are a couple of good videos on the HSE website about masks. |

um
coronavirus.data.gov.uk seems to be daily admissions (except Wales), up to 4th July. Unless I am reading it wrong? |

C4 news has number of people hospitalised with CV19 as part of the figures. I feel sorry for all the shop workers, bus drivers, hair dressers etc. |

Cool! I want the mask and gauntlets of protection, 1000 points, wards off CV19, Anthrax and Evil Spirits (aka happiness sucking leech type humans). Anyone know where I can find them? Probably in the 27th level and I'm only at level 3. G

um: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/healthcare seems to be daily admissions (except Wales), up to 4th July. The data aren't complete - if you click on By Nation and Data for the Patients admitted to hospital section, Wales show up to 5th July, England and NI to 4th July, Scotland only to 30 June. If you look at the UK total, it only shows up to 30 June because of the not-yet-supplied Scotland data. The current patients in hospital and in ventilated beds are more up to date, which is a bit puzzling. |

Maybe because the number of people in hospital with a positive test is easy to gather data on, but the number admitted to hospital due to covid (and it not being an incidental finding, or they caught it while in there) is harder to determine?

Think Badger might have meant that one for the Coronavirus discussion thread? Unless if you click on By Nation (which is a portal to other worlds or levels) and Date for the Patients is a next-level character, possibly a mage, who can admit you to the hospital section, which is an apothecary that can heal you and give you extra powers. And then there's a puzzle to solve (something to do with numbers) and that also gets you additional points helping you to level up? Yes, that must be it. The great MMOG that is Global Pandemic 2021. I'm hoping that I can actually finish that game really soon, cos it's depressing me now. Anyone for Tetris? G |

haha But the data has been accessible for the last 19 months even when things were horrendous so why would it now be harder to get to? |
