Thanks Sharkie. I’m having a bit of a shit week and feeling a bit sorry for myself. I will think of an appropriate goal but not got the energy right now.

Just a few days of September left. Time to consider the starts, how they're going /have gone/ didn't even get off ground - and why.
I did my four books and MUST concentrate on getting this fifth one finished. Will aim for another four in October. Finishing is paramount - I started skipping on the Anne Tyler, a start I don't want.
I think I've had a good month of training. Must do my plyo workout this weekend so I can tell my jumps coach that I've done it twice in the fortnight I've been away. I'm hoping to see him on Tuesday.
Planning is still tricky with covid restrictions isn't it?

On 22m of running so will get my 25m
Monday will be a double run as taking car to garage Next month I suppose I had better do more than 25m seeing as next Sunday is the virtual London Marathon!

I'm still in Run the Sum. It's been fine, with just a few runs that I'd have preferred not to do but which were nothing worse than a bit of a slog when I actually did them.
I don't plan to keep run-streaking after the month is over but have a target for the TYPE of run I will do in October.

- wildlife pond & surround has been completed - not sure if I mentioned raised bed for wildlife flowers? anyway the veg have been cleared from the bed, moved into position and seeds that were sown last weekend have already started popping up - Run the Sum of course will be completed this week - bedroom furniture painted and the new knobs have been delivered and will be put on today - I have started making a skirt after finally having time to unpack my new sewing machine
October - I am going to read a book (at least one) - continue with sewing projects - start a marathon training plan, I am not running a marathon but decided I am in need of more structured training after messing about all summer

Sounds a bit focused V-rap (which I like, that's me)
Pix you've done pretty well this month - I'm sure you don't need telling but hope you can look at your totals on the 30th, feel happy with them and see how to proceed: where there might be gaps or ways you could streamline... Dunno really, see what leaps out!

Mrs. J - can't remember whether you saw these or not - but so hysterically, alarmingly funny they bear repeating. The sewing machine I found Under the Bed in August. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I need to find the appropriate outfit first....

Focused yes. "I can't do this forever but I CAN do it for a period of time with a clear purpose and end point." And it has to be very limited because I'm lacking the impetus to do much beyond work, running, and keeping myself washed, clothed and fed.
