Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Had a dream once. Am in this room with a bunch of people I'd never met (like this thread) and see this lady that looks like Elizabeth Taylor dressed up as Cleopatra and a big tall bald guy with a deep voice asks me "Do you know what happens when you die in your sleep?"
I said you die. He said "Your consciousness becomes unconscious" ....

Interesting study by UCL that wellbeing for 18-29 years was lowest during lockdown and that stress over Covid is keeping fewer people up at night for up to 80,000 participants. For those suffering from anxiety/mental stress and want to change the outlook, UCL are still recruiting participants.

The ONS data is out with a lot more detail than I think we've seen. They should have know something was up with Leicester 2 weeks ago.

They did know. No-one bothered to tell the local authorities though.

BBC World Service. 'Wuhan: city of silence'. Exploration of source of covid-19 - getting answers seems to be rather difficult. Team visits markets and seeks info on work done in labs close by.

Saving up for my first ever Police Scotland fine lol.

Although I think the chances of anyone here getting one are minimal to zero.

How about as a charity challenge Tim. Wear a face covering, don't get fined, and I'll donate the £65 fine equivalent to a charity if your choice?! A win-win? :-) G
