It's all relative isn't it

For example - my current ~20 miles/week running with walks in between would be seen as quite a lot by some. For me, it represents heavy curtailment - some others would see it as the height of idleness.

And, yes - as indicated earlier, I'm fully expecting CAZ' 'rest' to be more than enough to see a Red L against my name next week.

Busted ๐Ÿคฃ. Active recovery......?

CA - completely agree itโ€™s all relative. An aside but Iโ€™m reminded daily how lucky I am to be able to do something I enjoy to the extent I do.

Totally - I plodded round for 2.5 hours yesterday, noting that this is nothing compared to ultra running friends and even for "proper" marathon training. But it was big for me and had I spoken to any normal (aka non-running) pal about my low mileage 35 mile week including 5 miles in the tipping rain on Saturday they'd say I was mad. Maybe both. :-) G

I'm back in following a week of no running due to coughing. I still can't run today but hope to be able to by the end of the week. I went for a walk at lunchtime which is an improvement on my exercise levels since Christmas. I'm hoping that even if my lungs don't let me run this week, being back in the game will force me away from my desk each lunchtime.

Well won Macca

ITG I never said I was taking it easy I said Marathon plan takes priority so when plan says intervals that means staying in park doing intervals instead of square hunting :-)

After being firmly trampled over by AndyS last week, I've got USB this week. It's all to play for. But not until tomorrow ;)
