Well to be fair, Jef, we're both jealous of a 6:46 2k so I guess we're even. ;-)

Just done a lunchtime session of 4 x 3 min @ r28-30/ 3 min rest. Knocked them all out at better than 1:50s but only just and it nearly finished me!

Going to try an 8 x 500 today to give me a clue how Sundays 2km will be paced.

To be in with a shout of my target 7:40 I “think” I need to hold about 1:52 500s

(I know the 6:46 was a while back but I've never got near to it and doubt if ever will at this stage. Im entitled to be jealous of that time.)

Although slower , that same year, 6:48.0 at BIRC is still my favourite as it was harsher conditions in the big hall

I’d give my right arm to get back to sub 7 after all this time!

Ouch. .. not used to fast intervals

I throttled it back a bit as I didn’t quite fancy the pain for a month or do.
