I also brought in the "Olympian" 10kg plates!
Mr Pix was with me when I collected the dumbbells and was a man and lifted them .... Apparently they are heavy. I moved them from the car and thought they were ok!

Weights in weight room!
I’d forgotten to add the weight of the bar so I have 3.5kg now which is useful

22kg deadlift today now I have all my weights!

The new dumbbell bar is slightly narrower Han my old one and the plates won’t fit on the barbell either. No matter

Used arms now as focused a lot on upper body due to iffy ankle

Gosh I’m blown away by all these big numbers, you ladies that lift are STRONG!
I’m using 3kg dumbbells until I’m sure I’ve got the posture and movements right. Weakling! I’m hoping that I can build strength and increase weight a bit before Christmas.

The leaflet that came with my dumbbells said to use in conjunction with a low lat/low calorie diet

Not sure what a low lat diet is?

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.
