Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Look at the Graph on the video Chris. It was nowhere near as bad as the Trussterfuck.

Really? This is not supported by the data. Even on this thread.

Wrong again.

Plenty more where that came from. Haven't got time to post them all, but I will if you really want.

fozzy - I said "briefly resembled" and it did. I didn't say it was in anyway as bad.

Not saying that Gilt yields didn't go up as part of a market overreaction to the Reeves budget, but it was about a 4% change according to Ed Conway's chart.

The minibudget caused a 40%+ change.

Order of magnitude difference.

An order of magnitude difference is not resembling anything.

I agree, but the way they both occurred, started the same way. The markets are easily spooked is my point.

Also apparently the OBR made an error that may have caused the spike.

Except that you and the other self-proclaimed "lefties" are the ones who've been bemoaning it and searching for "answers" on here all day.

I go back to my point this morning: "There will be lots of bad takes in the next few days"

And I meant on this thread too.

Peace. Out.
