Assuming you think there are two wings to the Conservative party then if either side has more tha. One it’s going to be hard to get over 100 (Boris & Stella) (Rishi & Mourdant)

The Speaker's Chapain's prayer (attendance at prayers is optional for MPs) is as follows "Lord, the God of righteousness and truth, grant to our King and his government, to Members of Parliament and all in positions of responsibility, the guidance of your Spirit. May they never lead the nation wrongly through love of power, desire to please, or unworthy ideals but laying aside all private interests and prejudices keep in mind their responsibility to seek to improve the condition of all mankind; so may your kingdom come and your name be hallowed.
Amen."
This rabble have fallen so far short of this.

Yes they really have.
JR - not hard, impossible - with something like 360 voting MPs it's designed so there is max 3 going forwards.

It's not going to happen but I'd laugh so hard if they split into four equal blocs with 90 votes each...

I reckon the top 2 candidates will be put forward with the option of the 1922 putting forward a second candidate if they have less than 100 nominations.

They've clearly stated if only one candidate gets over 100 they win.

I think the 1922's ideal scenario is one candidate with, say, 150 -200 and everyone else below 100. Not sure that's going to happen, though - I think they'll cleave into "one-nation" and "Blukip" factions...

They are trying desperately to game “the system”.
I would guess they have a pretty good idea of where the numbers will fall and this is a stitch up for Sunak. It doesn’t “feel like” a stitch up for Johnson as I feel they are more than aware that a Johnson return would be a complete train wreck.
