Just the 2 mile run this morning for me.

9.43 Min mile pace so nice and easy.

My body doesn't seem to sweat until I stop, my head just goes bright red like a tomato 🍅.

I think I need a valve on my head like a pressure cooker. 🥴

Back to gym boss 30/30 but kept a close eye on HR. Average only 124 and peak 139 which is all I can tolerate really, even though I hit 154 on Saturday. Am ultra cautious which I've said before because cardiology appointment awaits. Geez, not so long ago I could run perfectly fine, feeling good at 141-145 for ninety minutes...
Heat tolerance through a gadget?! Amazing.

RH Garmin say about it in the F7 user guide? odd

PR I so know what you mean! You need to cool down before you shower too

I tend to stop my run 0.5-1m from home so I walk for 10+ mins to cool down

The last few runs I have even taken my tee off and flashed my wobble as it's too hot then I can feel the sweat dripping down my back! TMI?! soz!

Steve it has some algorithm that takes into account HR etc and the temperature from your phone!

When running to HR I keep below 155 and most run walks are in that region too

Garmin keeps telling me to work harder to see VO2 improvements!

Aha!
It’s just given me 2% heat aclm for a walk. Says it does it for all gps over 22, but it ignored the first 28c walk and Sunday’s run
Maybe I’ve just managed to avoid >22 in the past, but I doubt it

Odd RH!

I'm going to record my walk to the car this afternoon (ok so it's 3mins but ...) as I might get the Garmin toasty badge for recording a session over 34!

I've seen the badge before and thought it was one I would never get!

Anyway back on topic .... I had thought tomorrow at just 21-22 would be OK for a run commute but it's now saying 25 tomorrow and 24 on Thursday. I'm tempted to JFDI with lots of fluid and walking and no extra miles. The weather going forward seems to be low 20s for at least 2 weeks so might as well get used to it.

Weekend (supporting at an all day tri) has gone from 22-23 to 28!

And my Friday day out now says rain :(

I think run walking, as long as you don’t march the walks, should mean a run in temps a few deg warmer than Id do if I wee trying to just run
