I am adding a hood because I think it will look better more like a big over coat so I don’t want to share any pics of it on until it’s finished because right now it’s not doing it for me 🤣😢

(Because if you can’t wear it or don’t like it that’s a lot of work) Could you remove the extra squares? Or a row from every square? It can feel like a lot to unpick stuff but if you’ll be more likely to like it and wear it it may be worth it

It was a bit fiddly and you need to measure carefully but if you can sew in a straight line they're fine! In some ways easier than making a roller blind (which I've also done) as you don't need ot stiffen the fabric

sallykate Mar 2023 1:11pm, 8 Mar 2023 11,137 posts	0 sallykate For daughter's room when she was a baby I bought a cheap Roman blind from Ikea and sewed a panel of nicer fabric on to it, together with some blackout lining. Worked perfectly well and was very easy.
