Craft it Yourself on More4. So there's a chance it's quite an old programme and I'm only catching on now.

No, it's new. I've watched a few of them. I'm not hooked, that's for sure. In fact, I think it's pretty bad, which is a shame because I had high hopes.

Tonight I finished the 1940s turban and will deliver it Bletchley Park tomorrow. It's the first item I've ever knitted with 3py and my goodness, it goes a long way. It took 59g, just over 2oz in old money, and was easy to knit and impossible to piece together afterwards.

Photos will follow on Ravelry in due course, but just as I thought I'd get back to my sock knitting I've realised i only have 20 weeks left to knit the next set of baby clothes.

Hopefully on Friday I'll discover what colour is needed as Sproglet goes for her next scan. This time though I'll only use yarn that can go through the washing machine.

Helegant, I'm baffled as to how a baby needs a certain colour which can be determined by a scan...

WL - I didn't say I *agreed* with it... but I'm not about to impose my views where the battle doesn't need to be fought, especially as I already have a reputation for being woolly liberal/PC and disagreeing with the received wisdom on rather a lot of topics within the wider family group. If pastels are required to match their dreams then I will knit pastels; if they prefer brights then I'll knit brights, and if they want sludge/camouflage then they can learn to knit for themselves :-)

Ooh, you're being very efficient and early for C*******s, EP! Lovely stuff. I made one of those triangle-trees in reds and greens a few of years ago as a C*******s decoration and it gets pinned up every year.
