Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

You could make a brooch with them or add to a shawl.

I've made a couple of bits of jewellery for a woman in my team who leaves this week. First bits of jewellery I've made in over a year.

I like those. As one of those who needs to be a bit careful about the kind of metal that touches my skin I wonder, is it possible to buy gold fittings? (Not that I'm imagining making anything you understand ;-) )

I might just go with applique onto a cushion cover - been wanting to make a cable knit cover for ages but not got round to it, may well be my next project :-)

I've finally got round to watching the new craft programme on Ch4. I'm not sure if I like it or not. It seems to be more a craft speed-date than actually teaching you anything. And the presenters are a bit too gushing, overly excitable and mockney, Jamie Olivers of craft. I know, makes me sound old. Almost makes me miss Kristie
