Waves were big too and crashing down on us... the a baby seal popped up and surfed the crest of the waves next to us. Worth getting up for 🤣

We have full on galloping horses with flying manes here off the North East coast, which look spectacular but are a lot less fun to swim in. I struggle to keep getting in the water over the winter because of the light and waves. The best time for me to dip is between 6-7am and that's going to be dark here soon. Good luck with the polar bear challenge
