I've done 24 inaugurals but the last one was in 2015.

Always happy to see another Bristol one for when we are next down. Blaise isn't my favourite in the winter even if it's over the road from my parents 😂

Bressay was never going to be inundated for the first event, but four regular inaugural chasers from Edinburgh appeared. And left straight afterwards for the flight home having done nothing else in Shetland. Why?

Beautiful clear, still, January day too.

That’s mental. Shetland is beautiful. When I did Bressay we stayed a few days touring about & did the Simmer Dim half too.

Each to their own but I have to say I don’t understand that side of tourism- similar with people who get up super early just to bag a run then come home. Our tourism is all incorporated to some kind of trip and visit

They can then come and tell new events what they are doing wrong. As one did to me at either inaugural or event 2. Not much sympathy or gratitude extended for that advice.
