Off to Crewe in a couple of weeks. Anyone been, any thoughts? What's the park like overall?

I have done Parramatta in Sydney. It's really nice but not that easy to get to.

OH did Centennial Park, he thinks. He said it was out and back and a bit strange.

Its a lovely park to run in. Quite a few up and down bits without any hill being particularly long.

The cafe in the park is lovely too.

I ran St Peters in Sydney a few years ago. One lap with a hill - and very warm on a January morning.

A solid WAVA PB at South Boulder Creek, though some way off my true PB from 5 years ago. But after less than a week here (altitude!) it's not too shabby a run. It's a really beautiful course, a gravel path beside a little creek on the edge of town with loads of wildlife and lovely views.

I tried the new event in London: Thames Path, Woolwich. It’s actually quite a lot of fun, the curly Wurly mound at the end is challenging, but not a killer and it really breaks the boredom of an out and back. Full marks! Video and blog below if interested

Drell ran both Paramatta & St Peters when I was there last year - St Peters really easy to get to on the transport system, Paramatta a tad harder to reach but the faster course for me

St Peters has the better chalk game!
