Lowest at Cheltenham for over three years (and that was a Christmas Day run). If Wales are lining up against England next week I may be RDing for a very select few

57.5 Degrees of Pain
The cold rain relented just before 9.30 at Fort William, but an icy wind and snow on the hilltops gave it a wintry feel. Halloween was well served with decorations on the course, something to look at when slogging up the hills.
It felt like the old days of parkrun when I took over token distribution after finishing my run. Not an arduous task with forty some finishers strung out by the challenging course.

An interesting day today - first of all it was my 200th parkrun, and the same number for my friends at Beeston, Liz and Leon.
Believe me, the other photograph was worse. An interesting fact was that it was also Leon's birthday, and our ages today are 80.5, 66.5 and 53 (waits for you to realise why that is interesting).
A quick dash back to watch the rugby i thought that i had recorded (it didn't so i saw the last 23 minutes live). Then ran off to get a lift to the British Masters Relay XC races.
The MV65 and MV75 go off with the ladies, so a 12.15 start. We came 5th, but after the medal presentations they presented the medals for the Midlands Masters Relay XC races, in which we came second. So i got a silver medal for a race that i didn't even know i was entered for.
It was a bit moist in parts for a flat course in West Park Long Eaton which was number 5 in the fastest parkruns list to show you how flat it is. Here's my mate Alan.

Long stud? Flippers might have been a better option
