Cheers jooligan, yes I guess there’s a lot of years more to develop myself.

Sorry Garfield: yours-226 for me after this evening’s 4M recovery run. For sure Bowman. I started running at 34 but got more serious when I joined a club at 41. Made gains across the board but peaked at 48 with 5K; 5M; 5,000m; 10,000m; 10M, HM & 20M PBs. I was denied the marathon PB that year by the weather so that was achieved aged 46. I’m still confident I could improve on some of those if I devoted my training to that aim but I enjoy long runs in the hills or along coastal paths too much to make the sacrifice required.

Is this some kind of glitch? Getting a leap year streak badge when it’s not a leap year?
Should I hand it back Fetch?

no glitch, it just means 366 days in a row. Its a sort of well done for not giving up after 1 year!

Sorry Baz!
I’m still hoping to continue but like everyone I take nothing for granted, trails always make me nervous because I can fall over thin air! One day at a time, one foot infront of the other!

hey, it was my own fault for not taking notice of the warning signs.....
back running and managed a few 3 days streaks but I did have a fall last week where I stumbled on what appeared to be a flat pavement. Other than some skin loss though I am fine

Ow, Bazoaxe, I hate when that happens - I'm very good at tripping over nothing too. FJ, no worries and well done.

was very annoying. I managed to carry on for a few paces and thought I had gotten away with it before gravity took over

Those are the most frustrating trips...when you think you've recovered and pulled it off, then gently tumble over. Mine are usually the sharp painful splats, resulting in a heavily grazed knee and painful hobbling afterwards.
