I know your memory is 'bad' but it took months (possibly years) to persuade you to do it my way, with you repeatedly thinking that we'd agreed to do it your way ... which won't work! Now we're on the eve of getting it done and you're checking to make sure that it's not being done how I originally wanted it doing, because you feel that would be a really bad idea which probably wouldn't work? That really bad idea which thou think probably won't work IS HOW YOU WANTED IT DONE FROM THE OFF! Muppet! . Why do you always need to prevaricate and needle away 'planning' how to do it the best way ~ which then, almost invariably, makes life more difficult for everyone around you ... and stop fixing that damn gate! It worked fine and now people using it get all confused and then all embarrassed because they're defeated by trying to operate a gate ~ you used to be able to get through it without putting everything down. Now you have to not put stuff down to open it, you need to put everything down AGAIN to close it!
And when I tell you that the job needs 'this' and the cost for 'this' is 'that' and that you'll need it twice over, then it means you need 'this + this' which will cost 'that + that'. DO NOT INSTEAD FIXATE ON WHY MULTIPLES COST MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL SINGLE 'this'!
And the next project you want to tackle, which doesn't actually involve me and would actually be eased by my absence* ... do you remember me saying that you might consider doing it in September ~ when I wasn't around for most of the month??? At least you've now listened to my suggested process ~ which is to basically reverse your process which reduces the impact on others to a minimal???

I know that you think I am disturbing your important "work" by talking to you, but if you think back a minute or so you will remember that (a) *you* initiated the conversation and (b) *you* chose to start using your computer/phone while I was talking which is really rude.
[We've been together over 15 years so you'd think I'd be used to it, he is lovely but also just as infuriating as ever!]

The law of nature which states that any recipe you choose to make will require a herb or spice which is not among the 100 you already have does not apply to us.

Moving the tv is easy. It did not have 6-7 cables plugged into it, and I know what they all are without following them all over the place underneath and behind furniture. It only took five minutes.
