About 50 young people carrying boat-sized rucksacks have just trudged along the road in the rain, presumably for a pseudo wild camping weekend on the Downs. What I don't understand is why a good few of them were just wearing t-shirts.

It isn't true. There will be a good number of average intelligence, leaving less than half below that level and less than half above.

It also assumes a bell curve distribution. After all, by far the majority of people have got more than the average number of limbs.

Mobile homes.
They are not mobile. Once sited, they do not move until scrapped.
They are not 'sustainable'. Most sites set an age limit and the build quality reflects this.
They are difficult to scrap. They are a mixture of steel, aluminium, fibreglass and plastic.
Despite being 'mobile' they are expensive and inconvenient to move.
They are poorly insulated.
They only exist to exploit a loophole in the law.

If "You" is a name that I give to the person I am talking to, then why would I say "How are you?" instead of "How is you?"

I wouldn't say "How are Steven?"
