Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

+1 for perfume ads. I shouldn't think it costs more than a few pennies to manufacture the perfume in a standard sized bottle, so I suppose they have to find something to spend their exhorbitant profits on. The ads are just weird though.

With perfume the whole point is that it's expensive. You are paying for the privilege of buying something expensive.

Yes, but having Johnny Depp playing a guitar in the desert is a weird way to explain that something might smell nice.

I imagine that someone out in the desert would be quite sweaty and therefore not smell very nice?

What does sand smell like?

How anything described on a menu as a "Light Bite" can have over 1000 kcal in it.

Or why, since calorie counts are only supposed to be accurate within 20%, anything can be given a kcal count of 363.39.

Why a deal offering 0% finance on a purchase also states an APR of 23.3%?
