Political leaflets that read "if you vote for X then you will get Y, therefore you better for us the Z party."
Surely the same logic now applies if I don't like Z though. They've just pushed me to vote for X.

Inflation going down being such a good thing. OK, it's good that prices are not rising as fast as they were, nut they're not falling.
Something that used to cost £1 went up to £1.25 instead of £1.10. It's STILL at £1.25, so we're not actually any better off.
