I can't help with wrist supports but there is a YwA video called yoga for wrist pain. I found it quite helpful in terms of how to place my hands etc to reduce pressure on the wrists.

Lazarus thread.
I've been doing Yoga with Adriene on t'interweb for almost three months with True, Revolution and I'm nearing the end of '30 days of'. I've enjoyed it and I wish that I'd started years ago.
There's one thing though, I've picked up a medial knee ache on one side during the yoga period and I could blame it on a brisk and not particularly well warmed up Parkrun on undulating hard ground that led to two weeks of non-running. There have been several non warmed up Parkruns before without ache. Then feeling fine, I ran a beach / mud/ rock race that was on, cough, undulating terrain that brought it back. I've been nursing it for three weeks. It's a long story but the crux is, has anyone experienced a knee injury through yoga: perhaps through too many downward dogs, pigeons or something else? Is it common? I've never had a knee injury before and had had a very lovely and long injury free period prior to the current ache.

I've not had experience of this sort of injury before but have heard of people getting yoga related injuries. With pigeon there is a risk of hurting the knee I think and there are alternatives, such as the lying figure 4, that won't put as much strain on this joint.

I've not heard of people getting knee injuries with yoga, sounds more likely to be the running. Have you considered going to see a physio who could help throw light on it and maybe help with some rehab exercises?

Very unlikely from Downward dog - which doesnt put any pressure on the knee as such. I can see that pigeon type moves might aggravate something if you force the position ...
but really it's more likely to be the running! (imho)

So...
Last night our stand-in teacher urged me to 'reveal the presence of my pelvis'.
Worrying times.
