When I do regular yoga I never want to be without it, but somehow I stop and then it's hard to start again. Life, I guess.

I found going to real life classes really helped me enjoy yoga instead of seeing it as something virtuous to do. Having different teachers was great to work out what kind of yoga teaching I like. The yoga retreat I went on in January was very interesting for trying out different types of yoga. And going to one class regularly helped me to relax into it more and get a sense of flow. I miss my yoga teacher! I really like lying down yoga with lots of breathing stuff and meditation and relaxation, that’s by far my favourite

Like Linds when I practice regularly I feel the benefit and value it, then suddenly life gets in the way and I'm hardly practising at all. I've done 30 day things every Jan for a few years, managed most days and really benefited. 2 months later I have slid and barely fitting it in. This year has been different and I have kept it up (3/4 days per week before lockdown, at least 5 during).

I REALLY want to be a yogi and do it more as I believe in the benefits and enjoy it when I do it But getting fatter hasn't helped and so out of the habit and well yeah just life Lockdown has not been great lost the love for everything at the start and lost a tonne of fitness so clawing it all back and now work is just so busy I can't get into it and I'm terrible in that unless I can do something for at least 30 mins it doesn't seem worth the effort! So I won't just do a 15mins run and 15mins yoga seems pointless
but I really want to do it and feel like I am good at it

EP I agree in terms of high impact stuff. It's not worth getting changed and getting sweaty for 15 mins. Where yoga is concerned it is ALWAYS worth it. My go to videos include a 17 min neck & shoulder one. Most of my morning practices are less than 30 mins. I get up, I yoga in my PJs or in my pants (sorry for that distressing mental image) and it sets me up for the day.
